В ТРЕХ предыдущих главах я, по сути, рассказывал историю одного «общества» — Европы, у которой два центральных сюжета: как следует объяснять европейский динамизм и какими были отношения между политическими и экономическими организациями власти, государствами и капитализмом в рамках этих динамичных процессов? Теперь мы можем сделать заключение относительно обеих проблем.
