Нами наблюдались лица с комбатантным ПТСР, у которых психологическая защита выражалась в развитии фанатизированного поведения со свойственными последнему структурой и динамикой. Формировалась потребность в постоянном самоутверждении и подчеркивании собственной значимости и бескомпромиссности в оценках, убеждениях и действиях. Пациенты проявляли непримиримость к любому несогласию с их взглядами по разным вопросам, включая отношение к людям, событиям, морально-этическим установкам и др.
